The original General’s Charcoal Pencil family formula dates back to the company’s inception in 1889. Made of refined, compressed willow charcoal blended with organic blacks.

Oil free and blendable, General’s Charcoal pencils are made with the finest organic blacks with a rich warm hue, to create beautiful art renderings and mixed media art. Cedar wood-cased charcoal pencils are a classic art tool Ideal for drawing class, painting, sketching, still life and portraits.

Pencils are made with genuine Incense Cedar wood, a responsibly harvested renewable resource meeting stringent environmental requirements.
