Daler-Rowney Gum Arabic increases the brilliance, gloss, and transparency of watercolour paint, which gives greater depth to each colour.
Gum Arabic also slows the drying time of paint, and can be used for controlling spread when painting wet-on-wet.
Art Masking Fluid is used to mask areas of the paper, making them resistant to water colour. Sections treated with Art Masking Fluid must be allowed to dry before overpainting. Once dry, these areas remain protected and cannot be penetrated by colour.
The Colourless one is a colourless, non-staining liquid composed of rubber latex for masking areas of work needing protection when colour is applied in broad washes.
